While at uni at the computers, and when I began to discreetly calm down the length of my thigh, a girl next to me with perfect skin and an imperfect heart, clicks her tongue and sighs loudly. Then I hear her bang on her keyboard, and click her mouse with aplomb. So I discreetly peek over to see what the matter is. She had just pasted on her FB wall, “Annoyance #6: People scratching in public!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t they know it’s gross!!!!!!!!”. Shocked and feeling sorry for myself, I wanted to explain. Instead I packed up and fled. To this day I wished I’d done something. The evil me would sneeze on her and passive-aggressively apologise for passing on a contagious skin disease, then show her how gloriously bad it really was that day. Ultimately though, I wish I had told her how much of a struggle it was to merely show up to my responsibilities at uni, all while being surrounded by beautiful youthful human beings and the occasional Mean Girl. 

ive been to try ALOT of dermatologists, one doctor was the worse and i will never forget him. he examined my horrible eczema, told me i had dry skin and just told me to just stop scratching and that i don’t need any creams or medicine. i had to wait about 3 months to be on the waiting list for that appointment (as i couldnt afford another consultation with a private doctor) and coming out for him to say that made me want to punch him in the face.
